Blackpool Pleasure Beach was founded in 1896 to create an American Style Amusement Park. It is the only UK amusement park to make the 'Top 25 Park's in the World' list and is the 11th busiest in the world. Six million visitors flock to this popular attraction each year.
Today Blackpool Pleasure Beach has a mixture of traditional wooden roller coasters, modern steel corkscrew roller coasters, family rides, and thrill rides. There are many old style rides still in original working order but BNlackpool Pleasure beach continually invests in with new rides and shows including 'Eclipse' and 'Hot Ice', and a casino. 2007 marks the opening of Blackpool Pleasure Beach's brand new white-knuckle ride "Infusion" - a suspended looping coaster entirely over water. |
