Blackpool has a host of attractions that are universally famous. The holiday resort of Blackpool has something for everyone making it an ideal place to enjoy yourself.  Attractions Blackpool range from the world famous Blackpool Tower, Blackpool Winter Gardens and Blackpool Pleasure Beach to the Sandcastle Waterworld, SeaLife Centre, Blackpool Zoo and Stanley Park.  Blackpool also has miles of golden sand for you to enjoy along the Golden Mile from the South Pier past the Central Pier up to the North Pier.

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Blackpool Pleasure Beach was founded in 1896 to create an American Style Amusement Park. It is the only UK amusement park to make the 'Top 25 Park's in the World' list and is the 11th busiest in the world. Six million visitors flock to this popular attraction each year.

Today Blackpool Pleasure Beach has a mixture of traditional wooden roller coasters, modern steel corkscrew roller coasters, family rides, and thrill rides. There are many old style rides still in original working order but BNlackpool Pleasure beach continually invests in with new rides and shows including 'Eclipse' and 'Hot Ice', and a casino.

2007 marks the opening of Blackpool Pleasure Beach's brand new white-knuckle ride "Infusion" - a suspended looping coaster entirely over water.  

Entrance to Blackpool Pleasure Beach is free. Rides are paid for individually using tickets which are on sale throughout Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Unlimited ride wristbands are available for around £25 each but can be as little as £10 per person dsepending on when you visit. Beaver Creek, offers a separate wristband for younger guests.

  • Avalanche - A bobsled roller coaster
  • Big Dipper - A traditional wooden roller coaster
  • Grand National - A wooden racing roller coaster
  • Infusion - A Vekoma Suspended Looping Coaster and the first ride of its kind in the world to be completely over water.
  • Irn Bru Revolution - An Arrow Dynamics shuttle roller coaster with an inversion.
  • Morgan's Circus Clown Coaster - Kiddy Coaster found in 'Beaver Creek'
  • Pepsi Max Big One - An Arrow Dynamics hyper-coaster with a highest point 235 feet above sea level. (215 feet from floor)
  • Roller Coaster - A traditional wooden roller coaster, notable for operating with minimal restraints
  • Space Invader 2 - An dark indoor roller coaster with a "space" theme.
  • Steeplechase - A three-tracked racing steel roller coaster, the last of it's kind in existance.
  • Wild Mouse - The last wooden Wild Mouse roller coaster in the world.
  • Zipper Dipper - A children's wooden coaster comprised of bunny hills and a tunnel. Found in 'Beaver Creek'

  • Bling - A large spinning-arm ride.
  • Ice Blast - A S&S Power Space Shot, originally known as PlayStation: The Ride.
  • Impossible - Has a Haunted Swing ride after the auditorium.
  • Trauma Towers - The Baronial Dining after the walk through the hotel is a Tageda ride.

Water Rides at Blackpool Plesure Beach

  • Beaver Creek - (log flume) - Children's log flume, and now the only log flume at the Pleasurebeach.
  • River Caves - Boat based dark ride, visiting displays of "around the world".
  • Swamp Buggies - Water buggy rides.
  • Valhalla - Hyper themed Viking dark ride, laden with special effects.

  • Alice's Wonderland - Children's Dark ride
  • 4D Cinema - Seperate fee. Replacing the Black Hole.
  • Convoy Ride
  • Derby Racer - One of only three in the world, the ride is essentially a large carousel of 56 horses in 4 rows, the outside row being the fastest.
  • Dodgems - Bumper cars
  • Ellie's Caterpillar
  • Flying Machines - The oldest attraction in the park, opened in 1904.
  • Gallopers (carousel) - Ornate traditional English carousel.
  • Go Karts
  • Ghost Train - This particular ghost train is where the ride name "Ghost Train" originates.
  • Gold Mine Train - Journey through a 'mine' with animatronics, sights and sounds.

  • Impossible - (Previously 1001 Troubles and The Haunted Swing) - a mirror maze, followed by displays of optical illisions, and a haunted swing ride.

  • Superbowl - A large dodgem/bumper car attraction.
  • Tetley Teacup Ride - Children's Teacup/Waltzer ride, found in Beaver Creek.

  • Trauma Towers - A walk through haunted funhouse attaction, hotel themed.
